Welcome!

I'm a natural lover of textile design, yarns, and dye, but my special interest is in jacquard and CAD design. I love working with artwork closely on screen! I find cleaning and color-separating artwork to be very meditating. I also enjoy experimenting with fabric constructions in knits and wovens. You can often find me either playing around on a table loom, hand-knitting, or hand/digitally painting.

In 2017, I moved to New York City to pursue my passion and indulge in my nerdiness for textiles. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Textile Development and Marketing with a minor in Japanese, Art History, and Asian Studies. While in the Bachelor’s program, I was working as an assistant jacquard designer for Duvaltex. It was then that I realized my strong desire to learn surface design, which I, ultimately, pursued an Associate’s degree at FIT in Textile and Surface Design.

I currently work as an Assistant Manager of Print and Pattern at Talbots. With a background in both textile development and design, it allows me to be a creative problem solver. With a deep understanding of substrates, print methods, and end-uses, I can view artwork more holistically. I strive to continue being a textile/CAD designer that is curious for inspiration but can adapt to one's brand aesthetic.

Thank you for visiting!
